The Crash Test Dummies have a new CD called "Oooh La La!"  I hosted another ICEBERG 85  in-depth special with Brad Roberts of the band.

A very eclectic album and a very interesting artist.  Go get it!

ICEBERG 85 presented a unique special to coincide with the new CD/DVD release from Gowan: "Return Of The Strange Animal".

He had Lots of music, plenty of insight, some songs never before heard on radio PLUS some live performances from Gowan.  I put this on to warm you up for his full-blown live concerts at Niagara Fallsview Casino on May 7 & 8 2010!

We are just about to head into Canadian Music week festivities in Toronto!!  I'm filling in for KJ on Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7 and Kella on Monday March 8!!  Another Satellite Radio Marathon!!

Jay Malinowski of Bedouin Soundclash dropped by on Sunday February 28 for an interview. He has a new solo album out called "Bright Lights & Bruises". There should also be a new Bedouin Soundclash album coming out likely in fall 2010. We chatted and played a track from his new record!

Hawksley Workman  dropped by for my show on Saturday February 13, 2010!   We were in the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games vibe here and Hawksley played a concert at the games!  Timely?  You bet it was - only on ICEBERG 85!!!

Anybody who's ever heard my show knows that I've had a monster crush on Chantal since I first heard her music.  She has a new CD called "Plain Jane".


I had a great time chatting with her recently  in our interview and during the recording of her "Takeover" show. Sam, the label rep from Maple Music always gets a little nervous with me when he brings in beautiful Canadian female singers because he knows that I always fall in love with them.

Well, this time was no different.  Completely unfazed by the fact that Chantal has been married to Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace for about a decade, I decided to fulfill my dream and propose to her!!!

I'm proud to be working for a corporation that allows me to be myself.  I have to have fun in what I'm doing.  So it was no surprise that I would arrange a prank on my program director's last day before moving to Montreal.  The premise was that all the jocks on our Sirius channel - ICEBERG 85 received a parka from Sirius Canada as a Christmas gift, but he did not!  (I think he might have been a little miffed about it).  I ended up negotiating a jacket for him and to present it to him, I pulled him into the studio with the premise that he was approving a piece of station imaging that was an angry holiday greeting from a staffer.

Sass Jordan was my special guest on Saturday November 14.  She has a brand new CD called "From Dusk Til Dawn".   She's a fireball, so as you can imagine, we had a very animated chat for this one!!
